Apparently kwak kwak and cuá cuá are the sounds a Flemish and Spanish duck makes. The cycling season is well underway but several teams have yet to break their duck and win a UCI-registered race this year. They are:
Pro Tour
Euskatel – Euskadi
Omega Pharma – Lotto
UCI Europe Tour
Andalucia – Cajasur
Ceramica Flaminia
Colnago – CSF Inox
Team BMC Racing
Voralberg – Corratec
Xacobeo – Galicia
The Belgian and Spanish pro tour squads aren’t too much of a suprise, even if the Belgian media is getting in a flap. Neither win that many races each year and they lack a big name sprinter who will always land results. Note BMC amongst the smaller teams, they might have Evans, Hincapie and Ballan but still can’t win. By contrast Liquigas tops the rankings with 14 wins.
Hello, where do you find these team results please?
Dieter, see the team rankings at the excellent Cycling Quotient website:
