Here’s a Vuelta a España calendar for your phone or organiser with all stages listed along with a rating for their likely importance to the race or potential for action.
These calendars seem popular for each grand tour. This lists each stage, with the distance plus a stellar rating to indicate the strategic importance or likely entertainment.
If it’s not for you but you’re interested in watching the race note most stages finish around 5.20pm CEST.

iCal
An iCal is an .ics calendar file that you can store on your phone or electronic diary like Outlook or Calendar. There are several ways to get this on to your computer or phone. If you want a guide about how to use this on various devices, see inrng.com/calendar for some tips.
Some more notes:
- Stages are listed with the forecast timings for the day, download or import the calendar and it should adjust to your time zone
- As a rule the forecast finish time is 5.20pm CEST but this varies along the way
- Some stages could still change because of forest fires in Spain, whether because of ongoing risks, damage or priorities for the emergency services
- Some of the place names differ from the roadbook, the calendar tries to use the shorter local name rather than a business, so Arguedas for Stage 10 rather than the Parque de la Naturaleza Sendaviva
- Ten stages are live on TV from start to finish (1,2,3,5,7,11,14,18,20 and 21)
- It’s on RTVE for Spanish speakers and VPN users
- If you want to try radio coverage, it’s no Radio Nacional de España with coverage from 4.00pm each day on RNE
- There are two rest days, the journey from France to Spain is treated as an in-race transfer

As always, thank you very much for providing this, IR. I imagine I speak for all when I say we cannot express how appreciative we are. Can’t wait for the Vuelta!
Thanks for this. As ever, a very helpful resource! Will you be doing daily stage previews?
No stage previews here.
Such a pity!
What if we all asked really nicely?!
Sorry. I don’t know the roads well enough, and don’t want to do a preview that looks like someone’s fed the roadbook into a chatbot. Plus am busy for the next month so things could be relatively quiet around here too.
There will be a GC contenders preview later today/tonight.
Thanks InnrRng, you make sure that we add the important stuff to our calendars.
Never mind friends birthdays and public holidays.
This is what we need!!!
Yes! Totally agree!
Ahh, the Vuelta a northern España!
I’m looking forward to the race – it could be wide open for the podium and top ten GC spots.
Obviously will miss the race previews for this grand tour, but we can’t be too greedy – even cycling blog hosts need to skip a GT every now and then.
