All sponsors get a big and public message of thanks and it’s time to put US menswear designer NINOX on the podium for their support this April.
If you like your cycling wardrobe because of the fit, function and smart fabrics, then NINOX offers this for menswear off the bike. There’s also a discount available for readers.
Freshly founded in 2014, NINOX is based in Boulder, Colorado. The company launched with an attractive and functional line of jackets and hoodies made from technical materials and you might have seen video genius Cosmo Catalano wearing their gear.
The company has big plans up ahead and recently launched their Carson chinos made from a technical Swiss fabric – durable, yet refined enough to wear to the office, and The Keystone, a handmade line of polarized sunglasses.
NINOX has some ambassadors whose names you might know. NINOX is the lead 2015 sponsor for pro triathlete Justin Daerr, winner of the Ironman Boulder. Colby Pearce, Olympian, Track National Champion and a former US National Coach, is also working with the company.
NINOX’ sponsorship matters and helps. Daily coverage of the sport has its costs from bandwidth to photo accounts, travel or subscriptions foreign news sources like La Gazzetta Dello Sport and L’Equipe, not to mention time: for example reading the CIRC report in full so you don’t have to.
Many readers have been kind enough to email and tweet thanks to sponsors for their support, please check out their website at ninox.cc.
Discount Code: as a bonus for readers the company is offering a limited time 25% discount: just drop in the code “INRNG” when you check out.
And for every pair of NINOX sunglasses purchased with the code, the company has offered to donate $25 to the INRNG’s travel budget so to ensure upcoming Giro and Tour de France stage previews have local detail.
Always a pleasure to see companies outside the bike industry showing their support. Many thanks NINOX.
+1 for non-bike/fitness biz sponsor. Thanks NINOX! Maybe Larry T will buy some trousers.
Nah, he won’t. He’s an old-fart who would look like a douchebag in garb like that. He’ll wait until there’s a donate scheme where all of the loot he throws in (minus the handling fees) goes directly to Inrng. 🙂
As ever the tip-jar is still being looked at but the concern is it’s a one-off payment rather than a more regular form of support which is needed to meet the more regular costs at this end. Rest assured if the tip-jar donation feature happens Larry will be shaken down 😉
Not a company I’m familiar with, but grateful for the support!
What I really want is SPD-cleated shoes that really look like good (Italian or Spanish) leather shoes I can wear to a business meeting along with a silk tie and a woollen suit.
David Millar was rocking some last week, but they only come in Look, Ik denk.

Those pictures of Millar with the Maserati make me feel that it’s about to force him into a verge – not sure that’s what the advertisers were going for??
They come in SPD as well: http://www.dromarti.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10_29_13&products_id=15
Maybe something like these are what you want? I have a pair – very nice quality (thoughnot cheap…)

Not bad, neither of those, but still looking more like a cycling shoe than anything else. I’ll ask me wife to get me a pair for my birthday, though, but only for Sunday rides. 🙂 Thanks!
Thank you, NINOX 🙂
I just ordered 5 pairs of khakis!
Thanks for sponsoring my favourite website Ninox. Nice sunglasses! But thankfully American chinos and khaki hasn’t made its way over to Europe…
Well, I clicked on the link, nice looking stuff but out of my price range. I guess the made in North America tag will help sales in the US.
Thanks all for your comments. As cycling sport fans, we’ve been readers of The Inner Ring for some time now, and jumped at the chance to provide some support by sponsoring the site this month – and providing a little extra incentive with the sunglass promo. Our products are not cheap, but they are made well and we are using great materials (our chinos are not made from khaki cotton, but swiss SUPER fabric). If any of you are ever in Boulder, please stop by and say hello at our offices.

thanks? for allowing us to spend $150 for a hoodie and $200 for pair of jeans….really?
Hi Swisscross, we actually don’t make jeans. Our pants are made from Swiss Schoeller fabric, which is some of the most technical fabric available, and are made in the USA where the employees have an average tenure of 15yrs + because they are paid a fair wage. Our hoodie is made in Los Angeles from US organic cotton, that is woven in a US based family owned mill. We used the best YKK zipper available on our hoodie, that probably cost more than what the Gap pays to make an entire hoodie, so that it would last a long time. I suppose we could have chosen to make our stuff in Asia, out of much cheaper material, and then charged prices that maybe were not so high, but that would be at odds with our philosophy. If you don’t agree with it, we are totally fine with that and respect your opinion.
NINOX
Point taken…. bonne chance
Yes, really, since the first ad was placed here all supporters of this site get a public thank-you because it makes a real difference. Of course you don’t have to buy but you can remember the name and if you have a moment, like others above, say thanks back to NINOX for their support. Without them and other kind sponsors this site could not function.
I just bought a pair of Chinos from them. Why? I expect really great trousers AND I really respect the choice the owners made to support our community. Two superb reasons in my book.
Thanks NInox for supporting my daily read, good job.
Purchase made; thank you for the discount code and for sponsoring this great blog. I am looking forward to receiving the sunglasses-
