High profile President, low profile organisation

Just a quick observation but does anyone know the website for the AIGCP? The Association Internationale des Groupes Cyclistes Professionels is the organisation that lobbies the UCI and others on behalf of the big teams. Its President is Jonathan Vaughters.

Right now the AIGCP is behind the protests over the race radios but without a website I’m struggling to read their house view on radios yet alone more. For a group seeking greater responsibility for control over the sport little public information is volunteered.

It would be nice to read further details, such as who funds them and which teams are behind this grouping. Certainly in the past several big teams have walked out on the group, it does not speak for everyone.

Jonathan Vaughters is tech-savvy, he’s even ready to chat on Twitter but the AIGCP doesn’t even have an online presence. If the teams want a greater say in the sport, let them. But there are positive ways to communicate as well as disruptive protest tactics. A website is an easy way to get your message out.

Is there a website yet? My search engine may be broken…

No. After some detective work I think I managed to get myself on their press release distribution list… but have not received anything.
