New Supporter Caps

A fresh batch of supporter caps has arrived… with a new design that matches the jersey.

Buy one and you get cotton cap… and the content on this website too.

What you see is what you get, these are cotton caps made in Italy and for sale with British shop Prendas Ciclismo. The price is £7.50 (about $11 / €9.5) plus postage which depends on the destination.

Prendas are long term supporters and friends of the site and they’re sponsoring the site right now too, a big thanks to them for their support.

It’s their business to get caps made in Italy and they offered to help produce an Inner Ring one. They’ve also got the e-commerce worked out from payments to postage.

  1. Done, I’ve ordered one with many thanks for all the superb posts. The consistently excellent analysis and information here is very much appreciated indeed!

Just one thing, I take a 62cm hat so this cap will be given to my son. I’m guessing that the average cranium size of INRNG readers is larger than the general population…so the option of large or XL would be welcomed if possible, I’d be happy to pay a premium to cover additional costs of production if needed. I bought one of the original caps in large and it was still too small for me, so the other son wears that one.

    • +1 for XL. Have the previous cap and love the design of the new one, but the old one is slightly too small to wear comfortably on long rides.

      • Prendas has a serious sizing problem – couldnt use the two I ordered at all and had to send it back. Their “regular size” is pretty much “s” for most people…

  2. been promising myself a jersey for ages – now I will get it done!

bibshorts would be good too…. coloured stripes around the bottom of the leg bit and the logo on the arse!

  3. Mission statement re cap size. Caps from Italy’s premier manufacturer do not generally come in sizes but were produced in different sizes previously for us as a favour to a very long standing customer. The current caps are not small in relation to every other cap on our site and are in fact one of the most generous.
The age old adage applies here, “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”

    • A fresh one purchased to go with the others and Jersey. Many thanks to you lot at Prendas for service too – ordered on Friday afternoon, arrived on Saturday morning despite choosing “free delivery”. Unexpected weekend treat in the post. Lovely stuff 🙂

  4. Welcome back Prendas! It is great to see your logo on the site and to have a place to spend just a wee bit more of my money. Thanks!

  5. My current white one is my most worn cap, so I’ll be grabbing one of these to go with it.

Really surprised though that the old black version significantly outsold the white!

  6. Cheers Inner Ring, hope there’s enough a few left for you. And truly, thanks for the cracking job and shouldering the rough visits to Italian coffee shops for us all, none of us would be up for that and you do some sterling work.

  7. Thanks for the reminder. Had been meaning to get a jersey for a while and now got both. Keep up the great work, I enjoy every post!

    Have a good weekend!

    K.

  8. Prendas excellent service as usual: ordered the hat on Fri afternoon and it arrived on Saturday morning! As usual a little bit on the small side but I dont mind having a line in my scalp for a few hours after a ride. Quality stuff, thanks inrng for the continually excellent work.

  9. Excellent cap, spent 5 hours on the bike with mine on yesterday, matching socks and jersey to go with it. Great blog and lovely gear!
